Vulnerable families are often subject to abuse and trauma. They carry heavy burdens and often are in need of a listening ear, words of encouragement, advice and prayer. Our field staff are wonderful people who love those they serve. Because of the nature of our relationships with the families in our ministry and our deep desire to walk alongside them well, sometimes we can be triggered by their trauma and begin to burn out.

As we seek to serve our families to the best of our ability, we see a need to provide more training and professional development for Hagari staff. We want to equip our staff to better serve and support the families that they work with, as well as to recognize in themselves where they need healing from past hurts and to get help if they need it.
We have just completed a Trauma Training which focused on trauma at different stages of development and how we can be “trauma aware.” Now we want to take that a step further and complete a training called “Healing the Wounds of Trauma.” This is an 11 session training and will cost $500 for 5 of our staff members to attend.
Thank you for considering making this possible for our staff!
